DESIGN NOTES

Like a balloon and as blue as the cabochon safely nestled in its side, the Ballon Bleu watch by Cartier floats through the world of Cartier watchmaking. Doubly convex, its shape strikes the perfect balance between line and volume. To avoid any ruptured lines, the domed sapphire crystal winding crown is perfectly integrated into the case, with the crown cap under a metal hoop at three o’clock protecting the blue bubble.

A LEGENDARY
HISTORY

The Ballon Bleu watch was created in 2007 from a new vision of roundness, which for Cartier designers, involved giving volume to the circle.

CONSTANTLY REINVENTED

It encapsulates limitless elegance and ethereal charm.
