Extend your warranty


The Maison will offer, as a Cartier Care courtesy benefit, any service that is considered necessary for each Cartier watch or desk clock registered through Cartier Care as long as its International Limited Warranty is active. This courtesy offer is at the Maison’s sole discretion on a case-by-case basis, to ensure the creation is performing at the Maison’s specifications.

When determined by Cartier, this includes a complete service, water-resistance service, battery service, and metal bracelet repair.

The above courtesy service does not apply in cases of:

  • Damage or functional issues resulting from misuse, negligence, or accidents (including knocks, dents, crushing of the case and/or crystal, bracelet or strap damage, etc.);
  • Straps, whatever the material;
  • Damages or functioning issues caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing to the case, crystal, bracelet or strap, etc.);
  • Alterations, tampering, dismantling, or unauthorized modifications and repairs of the watch or desk clock;
  • Watches and/or desk clocks serviced or repaired through any entity other than a Cartier Boutique, a Cartier Authorized Retailer, or a Cartier Authorized After-Sales Service Center, or damage/issues caused by the use of components and/or accessories other than those recommended by Cartier;
  • Non-genuine watches and/or desk clocks, or where the serial number originally imprinted on the watch case is removed or not clearly legible, or where any part of the original watch back or any original number has been removed, changed, altered, replaced, erased, or defaced;

The scope and extend of the above services are determined at the Maison’s sole discretion on a case-by-case basis, and will be offered during the valid period of the Cartier International Limited Warranty.

These Cartier Care courtesy benefits are in addition to other rights or remedies available to you under relevant regulations and Cartier is free to amend the above at any time.
